As a consultant with GPG Advisers, you are responsible for implementing and executing current and evolving projects as well as building and strengthening client relationships by meeting defined expectations, delivering results as promised and identifying possibilities for future client engagements and expansion of relationships.
Serving in this position will showcase and develop your industry knowledge of Internet of Things, network infrastructure, energy management, sustainability, business consulting, and real estate. The consultant will work to stay abreast of market trends in order to grow into an expert in his or her field.
The consultant is required to:
- Manage property infrastructure projects that include energy management and network infrastructure
- Work with clients and vendors to manage projects from design and implementation to close-out
- Apply analytical and quantitative skills to solve complex problems independently and as part of a team
- Establish a rapport while working on client teams and display exceptional interpersonal and teamwork skills
- Provide leadership, and take ownership of the project
- Exhibit excellent problem detection and resolution skills to ensure that all client concerns are addressed and resolved in a timely and professional manner.
- Conduct end user training
- Create statements of work that scope out project activities and timelines
- Monitor implementation activity for compliance with schedule and budget
- Create requests for proposal (RFPs)
- Manage project from implementation through sign-off of completed work
- Work with client to ensure the project’s functional and technical system requirements are met by vendors and/or contractors
- Interact with vendors and partners to acquire the necessary technical information critical to a project’s requirements, costs or execution
- Be flexible for some travel
Education/Essential Skills:
- Four-year degree from accredited college or university
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Project management skills and ability to bring creative solutions to problems
- Ability to multitask, prioritize workload, and learn quickly
- Strong organizational skills with careful attention to detail
